Summary
As the Words on his hip bloomed to life, the prickling, barely-there itch persisted and traveled down to his thigh, then down to his knee, to his shin, to his ankle. He watched in fascination and horror as the Words just kept surfacing. This wasn't right, this wasn't normal. No one ever had a Soulmark covering an entire limb.
Or: Ilya's Soulmark is unconventional for four reasons. 1. It covers an entire limb in a seemingly endless run-on sentence. 2. His Words are in a language he doesn't speak. 3. His Words are some of the most intimate, filthy dirty talk he could imagine. 4. His Words proudly announce to anyone who reads them that his Soulmate is a homosexual man.

What if Ilya Rozanov had his very own pet dinosaur?
What if Scott and Kip met differently?
What if the queer NHL hockey players found each other sooner, and had each other's backs?
What if they didn't have to navigate self-discovery, queer love, and homophobia on their own, and what if they all got to come out on their own terms?

“I feel really good about this kid, I think he could be great on your wing, he just needs some help settling in. Someone to show him the ropes.”
“Yes.”
The line went silent for a moment. Ilya wasn’t really sure why his coach felt the need to run this by him.
“Rozanov,” his coach said at last. “I want him to live with you.”
Ilya blinked, then nearly shouted into the phone. “What?”

Summary
“He wants doll brushes because he’s seen the girls at the park brushing their plushies with them. Their dolls too, obviously. But he wants to brush that pelt you brought him-”
David sets his crossword book down, giving Yuna his full attention.
“What?”
“The pelt of fur? Looks like a wolf, or maybe one of those big cats?” Yuna says, waving her hand dismissively. “Either way, I don’t think doll brushes are the right choice. We can look into getting him a set of actual grooming tools, he needs to learn that the right tools for the right job are an important-”
“Yuna. Sweetheart.” David interrupts. “I did not buy our son a piece of dead animal as a souvenir from Russia.”
