Summary
No one gets to see this side of Ghost. The side of him that melts under Soap's touch - Soap isn't even sure Ghost is aware of it. How his affection bleeds through his eyes, his scent. Soap won't call himself the most emotionally mature or aware person, but it's just so obvious to him. How Ghost's eyes are always on him, attentive and wanting. How he gets restless when there's too much distance between them. How his first instinct is to fight or fuck because that's the only time touching is acceptable.
He loves Ghost dearly, and knows he'll likely never be able to say it out loud. If he has to use other ways, replace 'I love you' with 'I'm yours', say 'I'm your bitch' instead of 'You're mine', let Ghost bite so he can kiss back, then that's what he'll do.
Ghost always talks about how Soap looks at him. Soap will do, say, whatever it takes, because Ghost looks at him the same way.

Despite Ghost's brutality and possessiveness, he's a good mate. Pushy because he knows Soap needs to be pushed. Domineering because he knows Soap is happy to accept it, to be brought to heel and follow his lead. Soap will never say a bad word about his mate, will never disparage Ghost or his behavior - he knew what he was getting into, happily followed the scent of Ghost's claim on him until he ended up in the wolf's den.
He knows Price and Gaz are concerned for him. They see the dark shadows under his eyes, brought on by the team's busy day schedule and then Ghost's nocturnal instincts rarely allowing him a full night's rest. They see the way Soap doesn't even take a piss without looking to Ghost for permission.
They're human. They don't understand, but Soap doesn't need them to.
