It takes Yeonjun a second to realize where he is. Not on a plane, not in a make-up artist’s chair, not in a music show waiting room. He’s barely lucid after three consecutive show days in Los Angeles and two days of travel.
It’s his first free day in months. He should be snoring in bed, not in the backstreets of Yeoju with his driver, trying to find an address he’s been promising to get to for years.

Summary
Yeonjun thought that he was in love with Beomgyu, once. Back in college. So naive. Now he's almost thirty, and he knows that love comes with pain and sacrifice. That's why his wife has left and won't tell him when she's coming home, that's why his daughter who adores him accidentally destroys everything she touches.
Love is more raw and real and emotional than anything that Yeonjun ever felt with Beomgyu. He still misses him, though. Life was simple back then.
(Life becomes a smidge more complicated when the idea of divorce appears on the horizon, and when Yeonjun meets his daughter's brand-new preschool teacher, who has a very different outlook on what happened between them seven years ago.)
