Story Summary:
Now that Merlin and Arthur have dealt with Arthur’s return from the dead, and with their mutual love for one another, and also with that mild inconvenience of having to save the Northern Hemisphere from an ancient magical foe, they're finally able to live their lives like any two normal people in love.All they want is to forget the past, to have a long indulgent holiday road-tripping around the world seeing the sights together as a newly engaged couple, and to get married in Avalon the coming summer on the Solstice.
Surely, that’s not too much to ask. I mean, things always went totally to plan for them before, right?
Story contains: Banter, humor, misadventure, old friends and new friends, canon-level peril, fluff and feels, a happily ever after at the end, and love. Lots and lots of love.

Summary
Rome is even more the majestic city Arthur imagined centuries ago, as he’d listened to his tutors’ lessons. Imperial antiquity breathes from every stone, somehow made even more grandiose in comparison to the modern buildings among them.
Unlike their trip to London five months ago, Merlin is comfortable amid the modern chaos. Despite cars speeding past on too-narrow stone roads, and tourists clogging pavements beneath towering monuments, Merlin shows no signs of distress.
Arthur, to his own surprise, is at ease as well. Not bad for a man born fifteen centuries ago, he thinks, more than once. It’s an immodest thought, one more befitting the king he was, or perhaps still is, depending upon your point of view.
He knows he should let go of such arrogant old habits. But on this one topic, he thinks he’s entitled.
It isn’t many people, after all, who could handle being murdered as a king only to emerge from a lake fifteen centuries later, to discover a land he no longer knows. To say nothing of having to prevent a predestined apocalypse days later. Or deal with being in a relationship with Merlin, who he's apparently been in love with since the first day they met.

Summary
Daniel can tell right away that something is deeply, unsettlingly wrong. And that’s when he realizes that Armand hasn’t moved his legs once in Daniel’s sight, which has been trained on him nearly the entire time. How long had it taken Louis to recover from his spinal injury?
“He had a lot more going on,” Armand wheezes. “But, to answer your question without consulting your abysmal recordings? Months.”
“Uh, they’re not so easily consulted at the moment,” Daniel says, trying to maintain his balance. It’s going to be a fucking miracle if he can get himself back on his feet, let alone haul a temporarily paralyzed Armand along with him. “I’m gonna let the head thing slide for the time being.”
“The head thing?”
“You. In mine.”
“How generous.”
“The way I see it,” Daniel says, “I’m your only ticket out of here if you’re in as bad a shape as I think you are. Tell me I’m wrong.”

Summary
Whatever carefully blank expression Lestat is trying on disappears like a slap. “Armand made a fledgling. Why would he do that?” Lestat asks.
“Oh, you know,” Louis says, watching the three dots of a new text pop up. “He knew Daniel was… important to me.”
He means to say it with rueful annoyance, as if to say, “so he ruined him.” But as Daniel’s text comes in—the most important question I should have asked you in that fucking interview: where do you buy coke in Dubai?—Louis’s voice trails off, his words maybe lacking some of the bite.

Lestat misunderstands what Daniel is to Louis and tries to be a champ about it. Meanwhile Louis rediscovers his drug of choice—Lestat.
