“As I was saying,” Valeriy steers the conversation back to the topic on hand, which Mitya is not exactly keen on exploring, “the theater.”
Mitya sighs. He’s not getting out of this, is he? “What more is there to say? We all died, and came back to life. Fought the ruler of death. That’s it.”
Valeriy does a double take. “You what?” His eyes almost bulge out of his head, dark purple finally meeting the lighter shade of Mitya’s eyes.
“...Yes?” And that’s when Mitya remembers he and the traveler had glossed over this detail, considering all of the ruckus and confusion at the time. Getting lost memories back isn’t exactly a walk in the park. Oops.
Or: In the temporary hiatus of Project Stuzha and Project Mistilteinn, Mitya and Valeriy talk, and maybe get together.

Summary
Mitya knows his scarf has always been perceptive. It knows when to interfere when Mitya talks too much, when to pull him back when he does something stupid, and most importantly, it always has Mitya's best interests in mind.
Which means that it's probably sensing something Mitya isn’t.

Summary
When Earthbread was still in it's infancy, the witches baked five cookies who would lead it into a golden age. These cookies were granted Soul Jam of the purest kind and each assigned their own purpose.
Solace, Devotion, Provision, Responsibility and Belonging
Alas, this peace was not meant to last and the five succumbed to corruption. Once emissaries tasked with guiding the world into peace and prosperity, the five became monstrous Beasts and harbingers of darkness. Their virtues were abandoned and became something far darker then what the witches had made them to be.
Nostalgia, Sacrifice, Forestall, Abnegation and Conformity
The witches, hearing the despaired cries of the cookies, sent down a powerful divine mage who sealed the five beneath the Earthbread. The parts of their power still untouched by corruption were rebaked and spread across Earthbread once more in hopes that they would find their way into the hands of worthy cookies in the future.
Innovation, Ceremony, Hardship, Consequence and Security
This is where the story should end... but it doesn't. One day, the five Beasts will rise again and the Ancient Heroes will have to face off against them.
