Summary
Zuko gets sick after the rescue mission on the Boiling Rock. As the resident healer, Katara has to take care of him.
Moonlight draped over him in a gauzy blanket, painting him in a hazy silver that softened his edges. She gently brushed the hair that had fallen over his face, her touch feather-light, mindful of the scar of which he was surely dreaming. Katara had never seen him like this — so defenseless, so vulnerable. She had a suspicion that this was a side of Zuko no one ever saw, and it unnerved her.
After leaving Yon Rah crying in the mud, Katara, Zuko and Appa take shelter in a cave from the storm.
The cold had sunk deep, past skin and marrow, settling somewhere close to her heart. What terrified her most wasn’t the cold — it was the certainty that it would never leave, she would have to live with it forever.
The next thing she knew was Zuko’s face hovering over her, close enough to eclipse the world, his palms burning against her cheeks. The air was thick with him - jasmine and lavender and smoke — and she drew it in. With each inhale, the fog thinned, her heartbeat steadied, her vision sharpening breath by breath.- Language:

There’s not much else to do (she knows, she’s considered anything else she could possibly do). Katara pushes up her sleeves and sets to work saving his life.

The amber-eyed woman can’t help the smirk that tugs at her lips. She’s looking to help Zuko to do something of a one-eighty in his love life. That means any girl he gets involved with must also be a one-eighty from Mai. Though Azula treasures Mai, loves her dearly, even, she and Zuko had been a poor match, a miscalculation that Azula does not intend to make again.
“Listen,” Azula says with a sigh. “He comes off surly and prickly, but he’s not. He’s shy and he lacks the confidence to talk to pretty girls. If you’re interested in him, you’ll have to make the first move.”
Blue Eyes scoffs a laugh. “I’ve dated guys like your brother before,” she says. “I won’t make that mistake again. Hard pass.”

Zuko just wants to get through the winter solstice without acknowledging its existence. Thanks to Uncle, Azula, and a secret society, he may just end up getting into the holiday spirit and finding exactly what he wasn't looking for in the first place.

Summary
"Do you mind keeping this secret between us?" She lifted her head to look at him. Two blue crystals, clearer than the water in the Arctic Ocean. They consumed him instantly. Katara could have made her words sound like a threat - as she did every time she spoke to him. But it wasn't the tone nor the volume that gave it away. It was that one word that made the difference.
Us.
There was no ‚us’ between her and Zuko. There never had been. To hear her say that they were part of something together … why did that thought make his stomach feel so strange?
"No, I don't mind," he replied simply. He sounded unimpressed, but it was raging in his head. Change was in the air, as heavy and thick as the steam from a hot spring.
He couldn't see it with his eyes, but he could feel it.

Zuko finally joined Team Avatar at the Southern Air Temple and has yet anything but arrived. Most of the group members still don’t trust him. Especially one particular waterbender that watches his every move.
One day, Zuko discovers a secret hot spring inside the tempels. It becomes his sanctuary – a place just to himself. Or so he thought.
