Jack’s teeth flash in a streetlamp. “This is not the attitude you want to have with me tonight, Robinavitch.”
Robby grins, stuffing his hands in his pockets and shrugging. “Or maybe it is.”
They round the corner, Jack’s house waiting at the end of the block. Jack laughs, a little wicked, the tiniest bit tipsy, bumping into Robby’s side as they walk. “Ladies and gentlemen, gather round to watch the great Doctor Michael Robinavitch dig his own grave!”
--When Dennis confesses his feelings, Robby goes to Jack for advice. He gets much more than that - after all, Jack Abbot's always had a knack for getting him out of his head.
