Summary
They part from their kiss both breathing heavily, a trail of spit briefly connecting them. Very promising! Such improvement in only a single lesson, Shen Qingqiu should never have underestimated a prodigy like Liu Qingge. Liu Qingge is flushed and staring at Shen Qingqiu’s face, his eyes dark and oddly soft… and then his gaze seems to catch on something over Shen Qingqiu’s shoulder. His entire face darkens.
“If you have something to say, then say it,” Liu Qingge says curtly.
“I promised Shizun to be good,” Luo Binghe says, still curled up close to Shen Qingqiu’s back - at some point he stopped gnawing at his neck, and now he seems to be positioned so only his eyes are peeking up over Shen Qingqiu’s shoulder. “So if I have nothing good to say, I’ll keep it to myself.”
“Boys,” Shen Qingqiu says, feeling very tired all of a sudden.

Summary
Shen Qingqiu’s behavior speaks of someone who had learned to hide his feelings out of necessity. Even now, he staunchly refuses anything that brings him the slightest bit of discomfort, and only feels comfortable voicing it in front of Luo Binghe.
Luo Binghe watches Shen Qingqiu and thinks: In his first life, Shizun must have been a prince.
(Shen Qingqiu leaves several key details out when he reveals his past to Luo Binghe. In turn, Luo Binghe makes several, slightly incorrect conclusions about who "Shen Yuan" must have been.)
