Summary
Clint Barton had a problem with the supernatural. Or rather, it had a problem with him. You see, despite his best attempt to deny the existence of anything paranormal, the paranormal refused to get the memo, and loved to get in his way.
This, along with the universe's extreme hatred of him, and Natasha's horrible timing for calling in favors, is why he's currently shooting arrows at aliens. Now he has to shut down an alien portal before all of New York, and more importantly, his favorite Pizza shop, is destroyed!!!

Clint Barton is just a mercenary trying to avoid the supernatural, but when his good (read annoying) friend Natasha calls in the favor for Budapest he suits up to fight aliens and a weird cosplayer called Loki. Natasha totally owes him for this, especially since he's caught and questioned by SHIELD right after.

“W- no! I- You know what a dog is you’re inside my head!” Peter whines out, then rolls his eyes when the symbiote starts laughing. “You picked up sarcasm from me too, ugh.” Peter rolls onto his stomach and grabs his pillow, hugging it to his chest and glaring at the alien.

Okay, so they owed a lot to that little girl (Caitlyn, apparently), as she was directly responsible for two incredibly important revelations.
The first is that Peter maybe wasn't entirely uncomfortable with being called “Miss”.
The second, and far more pressing than analysing whatever that was about, was that the black suit he had been wearing for the last several weeks was alive.So Peter did what any self respecting scientist did: ignored self reflection and tried to communicate with what may or may not have been a pile of sentient, alien fabric.
