Summary
Detective Bretty Mahoney's work day started with his captain standing at his desk in the middle of the bullpen. Not a great sign under any circumstances, but absolutely devastating on a Monday morning.
"Good morning, sir."
Brett feels his voice leave his chest strangely. Morning voice and nerves make him croak a little. He coughs to clear his throat.
"Mahoney. Good to see you." His captain looks up from his phone and the New York Times crossword puzzle with dogged interest. "I have a job for you. I want you to check up on the persons of interest from Midland Circle."
AKA Brett Mahoney and his one man quest for answers about what the hell happened to Matt Murdock.

"Heavy weaponry, potentially of a military degree, slithers its way through New York into the backyards of one alcoholic PI, two heroes for hire, and a blind guy with anger issues. These arms dealers would soon regret knocking on the wrong doors."
=A routine collaborative weapons bust takes a sudden turn for the worst as a chemical nerve agent is chucked directly at Daredevil's face.

Hawkeye don't mind working with Daredevil, really. He's a good guy to know and clearly cares about Hell's Kitchen.
Clint Barton would like Daredevil better if the guy was a little less ableist about Clint's hearing loss.

Jessica hates it when Matt plays blind. Maybe 'plays' is the wrong word. He is blind. But she hates when he lets it show.
