Caelus is quick to cup his face, peering into Dan Heng’s eyes with his own wide. “What is it?” he whispers, pressing their cheeks together for comfort. “I'm here now, aren't I? You can touch me, hear me.”
I thought I lost you, Dan Heng doesn't say. He pulls Caelus against him, holding him flush. Caelus kisses his cheek, wrapping his arms around Dan Heng's shoulders and yes, he can hear Caelus. Hold him, touch him, breathe him in.
“I'm here, aren't I?”
“You're here,” Dan Heng whispers, burying his face into Caelus’ neck.

Atsushi remembers what he had said to Akutagawa the morning after, when they were both trying to figure out what it all meant. It wasn’t the alcohol that had driven them to share a bed or exchange gentle, curious, almost reverent touches. And to Atsushi, it seemed deeper than impulse at the time. He still believes that, even though he’s the one who refuses to follow through. It’s one of the few times Atsushi has broken his word, and he still feels crippling guilt when he remembers how he set his hand on Akutagawa’s and offered to find out what that night was or what they were.
Set shortly after the Fitzgerald fight. Also, I continue to be bad at summaries.

Summary
The night Sunday cried to him, expressing his conflicting desires and fears and how deeply it hurt to fight himself for autonomy over his own body, Welt informed him that it didn’t matter how long it took, or how nonsensical it might seem to outsiders. He was willing to work with him, be patient with him, and would not push him beyond his limits.
Sunday wept harder then, nearly hysterical. When he calmed down enough to speak, he admonished Welt for his ability to effortlessly reduce him to tears, and promised that one way or another, he would find a way to consummate their relationship.
Thus commenced Sunday’s dogged pursuit of sexual enlightenment.
Welt helps Sunday overcome some of his compulsions, and proves that his body is worth loving.
