    If there was one thing to describe Megumi’s life, it would be that his life is not at all ordinary. Being a sorcerer means your life is filled with the extraordinary, killing curses that most can’t see and balancing between life and death weekly. Being a clan head of one of three major sorcerer clans means that you are three in eight billion, which is to say more unordinary.

    But if there were one thing to be grateful for, it would be that Megumi was a part of the 95%—the ninety-five percent of the population made up of betas, specifically.

    There's just one, teensy tiny problem.
