“Think she knew?” Megumi asks gently through Yuji’s mask. Yuji can picture him curled up in his black egg chair, nursing a cup of coffee whilst he watches over the screens for the both of them.
“Nah,” Yuji replies, mid-swing. The cool air of the summer night hits him in the face as he pulls his mask up to free his mouth. There’s something so peaceful about web slinging at night, even with the possibility of crime. He slaps his hand on the street sign attached to the wall and hollers. “I’m round the corner!”
