He huffs in amusement and imagines himself reaching out to pat his friend’s head, the dark curls soft to the touch, and how Cheng Xiaoshi would become frozen and wide-eyed by such an uncharacteristic action.
It brings a tiny smile to his face.
”Good boy,” he would murmur to him, his hand sliding down to rest against Cheng Xiaoshi’s neck, feeling the goosebumps on his skin, and the involuntarily shudder caused by his cold fingers.
”L-Lu Guang?”
His imagination must be very vivid today, because the real Cheng Xiaoshi is wearing the exact same expression as the imaginary one.

"Xia Fei's asleep," is Cheng Xiaoshi's reply, accompanied by his rolling his nipple between his fingers. Lu Guang has to bite his bottom lip to choke down his whimper.
"That doesn't matter!" Lu Guang starts to squirm, trying to escape, but Cheng Xiaoshi just holds onto him tighter and increases the assault on his chest. "I am not about to do anything indecent while he's— while he's literally right above us!"
"Ah-Guang," Cheng Xiaoshi breathes, drawing out the syllables, and then he bites the shell of Lu Guang's ear. "Please?" He blows lightly on the spot where his teeth had just been and sends a shiver down Lu Guang's spine that has his thighs unconsciously squeezing together.
xia fei comes over and cheng xiaoshi makes lu guang cum (many times)

And then, their eyes meet.
Just a brief glance. Just for a second or two. Cheng Xiaoshi moves on before Lu Guang does, eyes back on the game—of course he does. Right now, Lu Guang's just a stranger to him.
From now on, all he’ll ever be is a stranger to him.
That day, Lu Guang walks out the door. He doesn’t look back.
Discovering that he is Cheng Xiaoshi’s death node, Lu Guang goes back to the beginning and prevents them from ever meeting.
It seems fate has other plans.
