    Summary

Now… Ming Fan was climbing up the steps of Xian Shu Peak to join a yellow book club on the off chance that he could fuck the old demonic emperor to get back at a man he used to bully when he was a kid.

When he put it that way, it all sounded kind of petty.

…yeah. No. It was all just really petty.

Maybe Ming Fan was an idiot. Maybe he was desperate. Maybe he was a little lonely.

But he was also really fucking petty.

Luo Binghe – Luo fucking Binghe – had started it, alright?

Ming Fan had walked in on his shizun and Luo Binghe one too many times, and so Ming Fan makes the responsible and mature decision to... fuck Luo Binghe's dad. This of course goes exactly how Ming Fan planned it to. (It doesn't.) For some reason... Tianlang-Jun keeps... coming back...!?

This fic is essentially how a bully became a better person, and now he gets true love and some friends out of it.

    Summary

    “My pack hates me.”

It doesn’t even sound right to Hongjoong — doesn’t fit with the memories trailing out far behind him, doesn’t suddenly click with the tumult in his head. It’s easy to claim, easy to say, but it doesn’t make sense, not with the long history of love they shared, not with the way Yunho carefully dried his hair, with San crying over the thought he hurt his Luna, with Seonghwa holding him so close and keeping him safe, with Jongho pulling him aside to check in and Mingi’s terror over his disappearance and Yeosang promising Hongjoong he could scent him when he got home. Not with Wooyoung making him promise to tell the pack, reassuring him that they want to help, asking him to trust them.

It doesn’t feel like hate. None of it does.

    —

Everything's ruined — and it's all Hongjoong's fault. He ran from his pack. He kept secrets. He never wanted to hurt them. But everything's broken now.

Devastated by their Luna's disappearance, the pack has no choice but to sift through the wreckage of the last two months and realize Hongjoong was hurting far more than they knew — and it was all their fault.

They don't know where to start. But they're going to fix this. They have to.

    Summary

    Oh.

    Oh.

That is the change, isn’t it? It’s not that the pack had become less cuddly, it is just that the target of their affections has shifted!

A small burst of satisfaction blooms in Hongjoong’s chest as he looks down at his scribbled notes of arrows, x’s, and names — the same bubbling, pleased feeling he always gets when he finally solves a puzzle or wins a prize — but it immediately bursts as the realization hits him that this is the shittiest prize ever.

    His pack… prefers Wooyoung… over him…?

    —

    Or:
Hongjoong’s the only Omega in his pack — until one day, suddenly, he’s not. Which isn’t a problem. If Wooyoung is happy, then Hongjoong is happy — and he can’t hide that there’s a not insignificant part of him that wants nothing more than to guide and teach his new baby Omega. That’s not the problem. The problem is everything else that comes with having a second Omega — one the pack seems to favor, and one that is just so much better at being an Omega than Hongjoong ever was. The problem is the sinking feeling in his chest that he’s not good enough. The problem is that he’s just a redundancy, and his pack seems to know it too.

    Summary

His sight blurred, all Feng Xin could feel was the overbearing heat pressing down on him and the sharp sting in his mouth. In a moment of pure senselessness, Feng Xin dropped his temple down to rest on Mu Qing’s now-bared neck.

The hot flush of Mu Qing’s skin against his own felt like sweet indoctrination, like ideas that would make a madman spiral were being fed to him through the simple touch of their skin.

It was disgusting, the way their sweat mixed under the blazing sun, the way Feng Xin would believe anything he was told while laying there, he hated it. Feng Xin willed everything in him to move—the longer he rested against Mu Qing the higher he got of the thought of staying—yet every cell in his body resisted his trembling will.

Mu Qing shifted beneath him, he hadn’t even realised how still Mu Qing had been after he dropped. Apparently Mu Qing was stunned speechless, every insult that had been spewing from his lips fell from his throat and never made it to his ears.

Or: Feng Xin finds himself stuck in the endless void that is having feelings for Mu Qing, the person who ripped apart their young lives and gained Heavenly favour for it.

    Summary

    Mu Qing is dying.

Two years after he almost lost life, limb, and pride at Mount Tonglu, the god of the Southwest is standing face-to-face with his own mortality yet again. But this time, not even the people he cares for can save him from a sick core. He has one year (maybe) and a god's worth of loose ends to tie before the end.

The problem is Feng Xin, who has chosen now, of all the centuries available to him, to finally look back.

Mu Qing has spent eight hundred years making peace with wanting what he couldn't have. He'd gotten very, very good at it. He is considerably less good at it with 12 months left on the clock and Feng Xin's eyes on him like he's something worth keeping.

Or: A story about dying, and what it forces you to finally see.
