    Vox gets ahold of Alastor's soul, and he intends to take full advantage of his new acquisition. Unfortunately, his feelings for the man make everything a bit more complicated. But Alastor might just come to realize that Vox owning his soul isn't actually the worst thing.

He had a week to walk away from Denmark a better chef, and Carmy sent him to the best he knew to achieve that goal. Luca was pragmatic, persistent, and perceptive. There was a way he looked at Marcus that made him feel like he was holding his hand out to a flame he couldn't look away from. In a week, he was sure this fire for him would burn out, but he didn't know an open flame could scar like this.
