"Yes, but yours are getting too long. Your last heat lasted almost two weeks and you lost 20 pounds. That's a dangerous amount, especially for a professional athlete." The doctor didn't even look at Shane as she read through her notes. "Do you have an alpha partner that you take your heats with?"

“Did you–? You drugged me.”
“Hollander, if I am missing, people will look for me. They will find me. If you let me go now I will not press charges. I won’t.”

“No, no, no, wait, please! I am sorry, tell me what you want, I will do it- anything you say, please!”
All it took was a knife for him to remember his sense.
