wowwwww okay this fic is actually so so amazing i love everyones characterization in this so much i think this fic does a really good job plot wise in making scenarios and problems very realistic im not gunna ngl i was kinda confused while like a third way reading why there was so much of the fic left but the conflict in this fic really is something that i think is realistic and i think the ways in which both megumi and yuuji reacted was very realistic as well i really like how this fic focuses a lot on megumis more anxious and self-deprecating side as cruel as that is to say lol i just think oftentimes megumi is naturally perceived as the "dark, depressing, brooding" type in a way where his depression isnt really expanded on beause its considered a "given" of sorts BUTT overall this is just so so sweet the fluff is so beautifully fluffy the banter is so feet kickingly scrumptious i also love love love how megumis mean to yuuji AND HE LIKES IT like ugh ok freaks gah i love them so bad

the hype over this fic is absolutely deserved so so sweet so so amazing just chefs kiss i love love love how persistent yuuji is to sweet talk megumi and i love having megumis perspective to listen to his inner freaking out over it the plot twist was admittedly not what i was expecting but not in a "this is totally unrealistic" way i thought it was super sweet and cute and so very yuuji itadori and maybe just maybe a coffee shop meet cute is what it takes to get to me--but genuinely just the biggest of grins on my face the entirety of my read through this was so so beautiful

i love love love the characterization in this fic so much--especially the way in which yuuji is insinuated to be way more perceptive than let on. dont get me wrong i looooove clueless itadori fics but sometimes i think he isnt given enough credit so its nice to get a break away from it. something else i absolutely adore about this fic is the very real inner fight that megumi has with actually going through with his confession--its so painstakingly realistic in the sense that hes constantly waiting for the "perfect moment" and consistently chickens out because something doesnt go as plan and therefore the moment isnt perfect anymore. i know they arent main characters here but i love geto and gojos relationship and characterization in this fic so unbelievably much, especially how gojo acts knowing about megumi and yuuji's little gig. this is so sickeningly sweet--despite a few tears shed--and i genuinely cannot wait for this to get updated <3
