The first time he woke up after the encounter with Jason in the tower, not in the Cave’s med-bay, Tim didn't think anything about it.
He had had a nightmare, nothing more. He was sleep deprived and stressed, and that made him a little bit more prone to nightmares, is all. Being all alone by himself in the tower didn’t help either. His mind was being an ass, with the Red Hood targeting him specifically and Bruce benching him until further notice, it was only natural that Tim was a little bit worried.
The second time though, Tim probably should have gotten a clue.

There's a big public announcement, making a big deal of it, mockingly suggesting the Waynes can donate the proceeds to charity, so long as Tim gets in the ring with him, and people are like, Tim? Really? And there's a huge kerfuffle, people calling the influencer out for going after someone way smaller than him and people egging him on. The Batfam, however?
