Timmie had always hated the Fatui for what they did to his father. So when he saw a camp of them terrorising his pigeons, he’d fired some rocks at them with his slingshot. He really didn’t mean for the rocks to become fireballs, or to burn down their tent.
When Diluc heard of the kid with a pyro vision running around burning down Fatui camps, he was reminded of himself. Maybe he could help this one.

Giyū blinks at Sabito slowly. He’d been expecting an answer more along the lines of “the afterlife” or “purgatory.”
“Anyway, I’m Sabito,” Sabito continues, and Giyū feels more and more lost with every word. “Although you probably know me as the Water Pillar.”

"Don't worry, Kazuha! I'm coming for you!!" Xinyan hollered, gliding towards a whirlwind in the center of the archipelago.
Whirling around, the cryo captain cursed as the rockstar's silhouette grew smaller and smaller.
"Go. It seems your destiny is to constantly chase after impulsive pyro users." Mona shot Kaeya a smug smile as his eyes nervously darted towards the flames flickering across the ocean, surrounding the smoky outline of an island.
"Now, now," he tried for a smile, "I'm not so incompetent as to leave a knight's job to a mere civilian."
Opal eyes pierced through him, peeling back his skin and searching his soul.
"Do not underestimate me, Sir Alberich. Fischl, I can manage." The astrologist looked to the side in thought, the stars twinkling in her eyes, "Miss Xinyan is also more than capable of handling herself."
The fire flickered in the distance, the glow completely encasing the distant island.
"Go save him."
Pre-2.8 drabble on what I thought the Summertime Odyssey event would be based on leaks and couldn't stop thinking about after the Special Program disproved it.

Prompt Chosen: Radio Silence - "Can you hear me?"-
Diluc hadn't slept in weeks. It had been almost two years since he left Mondstat.
Now, he had slaughtered three Fatui staying in an abandoned house and was desperately trying to use the radio. He knew the channel that the Knights were always on. He had memorized it.
Then, he found it. He hesitantly turned on the microphone and spoke.
"Hello..?" He said, voice breaking.
“Who is this? This is a private radio channel. Over."
Diluc's breath caught in his throat hearing Jean's voice.

After traveling for 2 years, Diluc finds a useable radio and contacts the Knights. Jean picks up, but it was only a matter of time before Tartaglia finds him and takes him in. 2 years after that and 4 years total, Diluc returns without warning.

Albedo rushes up to her, easily picking her up and heading towards her room. “Hey! No, let me go! Mister Swan said Kaeya was hurt!” She protests, and almost kicks at Albedo’s chest before he puts her down swiftly in the middle of her room.
Albedo runs a hand through her hair, and she can feel it shaking. “Stay here. I’ll be back for you in a bit, yeah? Just gotta take care of some things. Can you do that for me?”
“Okay.” Obviously, she's not going to do that for him. Klee is now on a quest to one, find kaeya and see what happened to him, two, fix him up, somehow. That's what a little sister should do for her big brother.

Alternatively, Kaeya gets stabbed, Klee thinks she's a god, which is definitely Venti's fault, Albedo is stressed but put together, and Diluc is in desperate need of therapy. Klee takes it upon herself as a god to see to it that Kaeya heals, her big brothers stay safe (and in love), and Diluc gets the help he desperately needs with working things out with Kaeya.

“Can’t,” Zuko grunted out, just as Katara pushed the cold compress closer. “Father says that if – if it’s my fault, I have to fix it myself. Asking for handouts after a tantrum is dishonorable.”
He’d said as much before, when the worst thing he’d shown up with was enough cuts on his knees to border the wrong edge of questionable. Sokka had never thought twice about the explanation. He knew that Toph’s parents had cut her off from time to time. Rich kid problems at their finest.
This time, though, Sokka took a good, hard look at the burns on Zuko’s arm. And he did something he’d never done before: he asked follow-up questions.
“How’d you get that burn, Zuko?”
Or, Zuko's made a habit of texting Sokka when he needs to be patched up. But when said patching up only ever happens in the middle of the night when his dads aren't home, there's only so much Sokka is willing to not question for the sake of someone he doesn't even know that well.
