Summary
Lila's lies have finally done it, they got her expelled. Marinette was not surprised about Lila, she had been telling people for a year that Lila was a Liar.
This was the result.
Marinette also shouldn't have been surprised at the betrayal of her "friends". She shouldn't have. While Adrien knew the truth, he never defended her. Alya and Nino has spend years singing Lila's praises.
Marinette was done with Paris. Moving to London seemed to be the next best option. A couple of hour ride from her parents if she missed them, but far enough she couldn't be bothered by her so called "friends".
Ex-Friends.
Marinette learned she shouldn't trust anyone to have her back (aside from Chat, most days at least). Moving to London was a fresh start, immediately getting pulled into her "cousin's" group of friends. They were nice, and fun to hang out with. Marinette was not, however, expecting to see an Adrien Agreste look-alike in the corridor.
Unbeknownst to her, that boy would end up being her world. More so than Adrien ever could be.
