“I missed you,” Barty says simply, shrugging his shoulders as if it was obvious.
Maybe it was. Regulus feels warmth spreading through his body at the thought that Barty had missed him. He lifts a duvet a bit and pats a place next to him. “Are you coming?”
Barty smiles before laying down. “Of course.”
Regulus feels Barty's arm wrapping around him, while he places his head on Barty’s chest and he sighs contently. He missed Barty too.

Eventually, you’ll wake up and it won’t be your first thought every morning. It won’t shock you every time you remember that he's gone. There’s nothing better about losing somebody you love that much, but time will take the sharpness, and get you used to his absence. You’ll live the good parts of your life. You’ll get married, and have a family if that’s what you want. Whatever you desire, you’ll build it. And you’ll miss him for the rest of your life Sirius, but one day you’ll wake up and realize you lived through it.”
“What if I don’t want to live through it?” Sirius asked, his voice small.

Summary
He thinks he’s screaming, feeling the claws drag across his skin, letting blood pour out as if he has an infinite amount. He wonders if the lake will be blood-red after he dies.
Regulus reaches his hand up, hoping Sirius will help him. Sirius doesn’t reach back.
His hand is dragged back down, and all Regulus can do is close his eyes and focus on the good memories. The thought of the ocean, the thought of Sirius, and he thinks he’s smiling as he feels himself get drowsy. He lets go of his breath and allows himself to fade away.
Or
Regulus Black goes back in time, covered in scars, and hates life.
