Summary
Peter doesn’t want to open his eyes. There’s a non-zero chance that they’ve gone pitch dark, animal—further evidence of just how completely he’s lost control of himself in such a short amount of time. How he can’t control himself around Frank, can’t stop the need to take more than he’s offered, and how maybe that’s enough to sever whatever tenuous connection they have. Another sob bullies its way out of his chest.
“Look at me,” Frank grunts, low and sudden like thunder, grabbing Peter’s chin with a forceful hand. An authoritative edge sharpens his voice, all First Lieutenant and father. Peter can’t help the way his eyes fly open at the command, the weight of his body slumping pathetically into the palm of Frank’s hand.
(Peter is having a hard time deciding what he wants from Frank. Frank doesn't make it any easier.)

Frank can’t stop staring at Peter's fangs, bared at him in a threat, a warning. Alphas and omegas alike using the same threat, but Peter is an omega, and his fangs are small. Well, they’re supposed to be.
Those don’t look like any omega fangs Frank has seen. They’re piercingly sharp and big.
