Summary
Just like every form of intimacy, Qin had to retain each step like it was a quiz he was studying for. Each mishap, each topic, each learning experience. The most important difference? This was a quiz he would more than happily take, anytime it was given, for the rest of his life.
Truly, it was worth it. Every time Tong or Kim would snicker at possessive gestures, or Duang would bashfully shift away from Qin in fear he might explode on the spot. It was worth every dirty look, every jealous sneer, every rigid and orthodox comment.
Qin was rewarded everyday when he woke up in the morning to see Duang’s sleep slacked jaw and mussed hair against their sheets. He was rewarded after every peck in public when Duang would beam at him so brightly. He was rewarded because he had Duang with him: the most lovely, bright, sweet boy to ever walk the planet.
He’d grown to enjoy physical affection, grown to expect it.
Maybe a little too much at times.

Summary
Duang was a passionate, unrelenting force. An unbreakable thing; once he set his mind to something, he would let nothing stop him from getting it.
He wasn’t spoiled, by no means did he ever win by playing dirty. He seldom did things recklessly like his peers, never were they half-hearted, and never were they with ill-intention or mindlessness.
Restraint was a word Duang had, at no time in his life, ascertained. Holding back was for other people, people who were too afraid of their dreams and desires to fully let go: to openly pursue something, to obsess the way he knew he could. It wasn’t until now that Duang understood what people meant by ‘restraint.’
