“Are you really going to smoke that?” Mizi finally broke the silence. Well, the word ‘silence’ was relative, considering they were at a house party. There was distant chatter all around them. The bass of the music reverberated through the wall they leaned against. Some EDM of sorts. Dewey’s doing most likely. He always did have questionable taste in music.
“I want to.”
“...Are you sure?” Mizi leaned closer to her, voice dropping as if they were sharing some sort of conspiracy. “You know how you get when you’re high, babe.”
Oh, I know.
That’s exactly why she wanted to try the joint out. Sua kept those thoughts to herself though, but heat still spread across her ears. Thank god for long hair. It was easier to feign indifference this way. Sua brought the joint up to her lips.
“Can you light it for me?”
