Summary
Durin has learnt a lot about "courting" and "romance" from observing humans. He still doesn't really understand much, but according to his observations, he definitely thinks there's something "going on" between Albedo and Wanderer. Durin decides it's up to him to do something about it, and begins his great undertaking of a certain task he's heard of: the art of "match making".
Albedo was speechless for a moment before finally speaking up. “Durin,” he asked nicely, “just how many people did you ask about this?”
Wanderer watched with apprehension as Durin mentally counted on his fingers, distinctly feeling the physical sensation of a rock dropping into his stomach, as Durin’s two hands ran out of fingers and he had to start fresh on his left hand once again.
“You know what? Don’t answer that. Don’t answer that question.” Wanderer snapped.

Summary
“To be free to love, to be free of love…” she muses quietly, almost hushed enough for the gusts of wind to carry her voice away. She knows Venti would hear her anyway. “It is almost the same thing, yet so vastly different.”
Venti hums. “We are quite alike indeed.”
“I don’t believe so.”
“No?” His eyes bore into her. She feels like the surface of the lake, frozen and still, being chipped away by the sun. “What a pity. And here I almost started to regret the way things went.”
Divine punishment already gleaming in the sky, two gods with a difficult past have a much needed conversation.

Summary
“Venti, someone saw you.”
There’s a pause. “Someone saw me,” Venti repeats.
“Nimrod,” Diluc nods. “Got drunk in Angel’s Share afterwards. Charles told me, which means that everyone in the bar must know by now, and probably half the city.” Then he mutters something about Kaeya, which Venti would address if he felt anything like normal. It’ll be fine, probably.
The idea of Nimrod knowing, of half of the city knowing –
Anemo rises up between Venti’s limbs before he can even put the idea into words. He doesn’t think about it, barely processing what he’s doing, before he blinks out in a flurry of teal.
(Venti intervenes with an Abyssal threat and gets caught. Mondstadt doesn't see him again for weeks.)

“So, hypothetically, if I wanted to put a curse on somebody and make them suffer but I didn’t really want them to die—how would you suggest that, um, I do that?”
Kuroo looks up over his completely wholesome and not-at-all suggestive magazine (covered by another magazine—a nature special on humpback whales or some other majestic shit like that) to find an extremely hot and extremely sad-looking guy. Kuroo raises an eyebrow, but it’s invisible under the black of his fringe. He alternates brows.
“Damn. Who fucked you over?”

"Those who divine the fate of others are blind to their own."
Xiang Fei is fairly certain he's been bullshitting for twenty-seven years and that, sooner or later, someone will finally catch on.
Somehow, that still hasn't happened—not even after he gained the name Xiang Qingfei, inherited Xuan Ji Peak, and became Cang Qiong Mountain's foremost diviner.
Unfortunately, Heaven keeps proving him right—and Shen Qingqiu, after years of trying to discover exactly how Xiang Qingfei knows things he shouldn't, eventually decides to test the limits of his famed insight personally.

A familiar tense presence brushed against his mind like a stray cat who was not sure whether to bite someone they recognize or not, before a sharp voice sounded from behind him. “What did you do?”
Shen Yuan flinched and spun around and was eye to eye with the cultivator in green he had seen on Qian Cao Peak that day. The guy’s sword was… not as bad as it had been. He sent a pulse of comfort its way and felt the tension lessen the slightest bit.
“That! What are you doing?”

“Are you single?” Gaara asks. He’s not sure how he’s meant to do this.
“Oh, I see,” the man says after a pause. “I’ve read about this. You’re asking me out, and I should answer based on my interest rather than my actual relationship status.”
Good, he’s making this easy, Gaara thinks.
