In another world, he is lucky. In another world, there is never the feeling of hands sliding to places where he does not want them. In another world, he can look his friend in the eye and say 'I love you' without lying.
But this is a different world. In this world, he says 'I love you' to a goddess and it is a lie. He says 'I love you', and only does it in fear of being hurt.
He gets a punch to the gut for his troubles.
