Summary
Wrapping his arms around Ned's back, hiccupping into his shoulder, letting Ned squeeze the life out of him in return, feels all too natural. It feels like coming home.
Time isn't as linear as it could be, and neither is healing. Peter has a lot to heal from, and a lot to hurt for. Losing time and finding family, with a few things that probably shouldn't go in your gut coming along for the ride.
or,
Peter was thrown back in time and used his second chance to fix the Ultron disaster, averting the Civil War and all its heinous consequences. This is him dealing with the 'after'.

Summary
A neutralizer. Neu. New. They sound the same, get it? So Peter had called it the Neu-Spider and Tony had laughed his ass off and said it was perfect. And then Tony was gone and there was no one in the world who still loved Peter Parker, so the Neu-Spider kept its awful name and Peter Parker fought for the greater good his Uncle Ben taught him to believe in.
He dies for that greater good, just like his uncle did, in the arms of someone who didn't deserve to see it. Except that person wasn't Peter Parker and powerless, so Peter wakes back up.
Just... not exactly when he was before.

Summary
“All of you have lived stolen lives. Now, you must give them back.”
Victor von Doom seeks to bring justice to an unjust multiverse. Too many heroes have warped and manipulated time and the very fabric of reality to suit their whims. He will wipe the slate clean, build anew and regain what he lost.
Regain who he lost.
“Victor used to be different. He used to be kind. He used to be caring, and then… everything he loved was taken from him.“
An image is projected for the gathered heroes to observe: Victor's wife and son, both smiling towards the camera. There isn’t anything special about either of them; their faces could be one of millions in a crowd, so none of the Avengers react.
Under his mask, Peter Parker’s breath catches as he looks at a picture with his face.

Summary
"You got heart, kid." Steve says. "I can see you're a good—"
"You don't know what I am."
The words tumble out faster than Peter intends, almost reflexively. As soon as he hears them resonate between them, he feels an unpleasant pang in his chest. Bitterness, anger, hopelessness.
He can taste his own misery like salt in the air.
Or: BND!Peter ends up stranded in the past, during the airport fight. He kicks Team Cap's ass.
