“Get up.” Valeriy’s voice cuts through the fog, sounding every ounce the military man that he is. “You’re going to the infirmary.”
“Good idea”, Mitya mumbles, for once not putting up an argument.
As he gets to his feet, he stumbles, head spinning. The very next moment, Valeriy is there, not even asking before lacing one arm behind his back and the other under his knees, hoisting him into the air in a bridal carry.
Maybe, if Mitya was less out of it, he’d be embarrassed by this.
