It sounded feminine. He was sure he had heard it but his brain refused to cooperative with him. All he knew is that it washed with an eerie calmness that he couldn’t effort. Not while he was stuck in this situation.
Forcing to open his eyes, Legend came eye to eye with a familiar face, a sun burnt skin and red hair ruffled by the wind and the sea, her body kneeling to his side. He widen his eyes, his disbelieve was apparent.
“Marin?”

Shoving his hand back out of his sleeve, Legend held the shiny medallion between his index and middle. "I've had it with you lot." He spat into the mud.
His hat long since fallen off, Legend's hair sparked to bright, vibrant pink as he caressed the flow of magic within him.
"Legend!!" Hyrule screamed, the share of magic within him, the pull of it nearly tugging his heart out. His head fell forward to the mud below, Wind uselessly, weakly trying to pull him back up.
The Veteran forced in a deep breath, the weight of the consequences, of the risks that came with such reckless acts. How it would never be reversed.
A large club retracted in the air, gaining momentum as it swung at the careless, foolish hero.
"Legend-"
He shut his eyes, flicking the medallion up.
"No!!"

If the Hunting Dog reveal didn’t succeed in making Gin hate him, they doubt anything could.

Summary
Legend has always had a complicated relationship with sleep.
Being afraid of sleep came after Koholint.
Legend can’t quite describe it, the way his body instantly rejects all thoughts of sleep. He knows, logically, that he needs it. But the moment he lays his head down to rest, his heart starts racing and his hands start getting clammy and it starts getting hard to breathe. The thought of slipping into another Dream again is too horrible to even imagine. The thought of waking up from one is even worse.
So he handles it. If handling it means that he just doesn’t sleep until he passes out.----
Legend is somniphobic (he has a phobia of sleep). The Chain helps.
