Summary
It’s been one week, two days, and twenty hours since Eddie told Buck he was in love with him.
It happened a few feet from where Buck’s standing now, just a little further to the left of the coffee table, and in front of the lamp. Since that day, he finds himself drifting there on cue, feet dragging to the spot before his mind catches up.
He’s staring at the spot, he realizes, and tears his eyes away.
It’s been one week, two days, twenty hours (and roughly seventeen minutes) since Eddie told Buck he was in love with him, and now he’s sitting on his couch helping Buck decide on a shirt for his date.
A date that’s not with Eddie, because when Eddie told him he loved him, Buck didn’t say it back. Because he isn’t. In love with Eddie, that is.

Summary
“C’mere, baby,” Ryan says, kind of sleazy, the way he might if they were joking around on set. Oliver means to rankle at the pet name, but he forgets to. He sits next to Ryan.
Ryan tugs on him until Oliver is lying half on him. Oliver lets him, giving Ryan permission to do whatever he wants with his body in a way he can't imagine he would with anyone else.
“You're been avoiding me,” Ryan says. He tugs on Oliver's hair. Not hard enough to hurt. But enough that Oliver lolls his head so he can see Ryan's expression.
“Didn't think you'd notice.”
There's this thing that gets confusing, the lines blurry, because Oliver is in love with Ryan, and he is also pretending to be in love with Ryan as a profession.
Or: why Oliver and Ryan looked so rumpled at the convention in New Jersey.

“We will try to do better,” Buck says, even though he barely believes the words.
“Yeah,” Eddie agrees. “Like I said, it won’t happen again.”
“It won’t,” Chimney nods. “Because I’m sending you both on a wellness retreat.”
Or; Buck and Eddie aren’t getting along after Eddie returns from El Paso. Chimney has the clever idea to send them on a LAFD wellness retreat for firefighters that are having problems in their partnerships.
So why when Buck and Eddie arrive are all their fellow firefighters in relationships?

Summary
Eddie's gaze landed on Buck.
"Oh no," Eddie breathed beside him, so quiet Buck almost didn't hear it.
Video-Buck was sitting on a couch, drink in hand, grinning up at Eddie with that stupid, fond expression Buck knew he got when he looked at Eddie but usually managed to hide better. Video-Eddie walked over, and the crowd went wild.
"This is—we should turn this off," Eddie said, but neither of them moved.
Video-Eddie started dancing, and at first it was silly, exaggerated, both of them laughing. Buck remembered this part, sort of—the dare, Eddie being ridiculous, everyone cheering. But then video-Eddie straddled Buck's lap, and everything changed.
Buck watched his own hands come up to grip Eddie's hips, watched the way Eddie's expression shifted from playful to something intense, something hungry. They were staring at each other, and even through the grainy video, Buck could see it—the want, the need, the thing they never talked about made visible."Kiss him!" someone shouted in the video. "Kiss the sexiest man in the room!"
And they did.Or video evidence of that bachelor party emerges leaving buddie in complete chaos

Summary
Buck tosses the spoon into the sink dramatically and lunges toward him in mock serious.
Eddie stumbles back while laughing until he’s cornered against the counter.
Buck boxes him in without thinking with his hands on either side and leaning in like he's interrogating him.
The space between them narrows instantly.
The laughter fades.
Breathing shifts.Buck’s grin softens and his voice going low.
“You’ve got cheese on your face”
Eddie blinks.
“Where?”
Buck’s gaze drops to his lips.
