Hanbin let out a shallow exhale, unable to breathe in the face of Hao’s love, of his desire. “You don’t even know,” he muttered, wondering how broken his words needed to become for Hao to finally understand that he would never match Hanbin, not in this, not even if he tried. “You—you don’t even understand. You can’t even imagine.”
Hao smiled, and after years of darkness, the sun rose. “Then show me,” he whispered.
Five and a half years after disappearing over the ocean without a single trace, Zhang Hao’s flight back from China landed—after Hanbin had only just stopped waiting for him to come home.

Summary
“Ow!” A voice pipes up from under the lily pad. Gunwook narrows his eyes in suspicion, and he keeps chucking wood chips at the seemingly sentient floating leaf. “Fuck! Shit! Ow—can you please stop doing that?”
The lily pad slips off the hidden offender, and Gunwook sees the briefest flick of a large tail disappear beneath the water. His jaw drops.
“You’re—” A mermaid, is what Gunwook means to say, but what comes out instead is “—very vulgar.”
Gunwook gets lost at sea in the midst of doing his research. Matthew helps him find his way home.
