This will be the repository for my responses to Rick/Reader prompts and requests I've received on tumblr.
The tags will reflect everything in all chapters posted. Unless it's clear from the request, I will note specific tags at the beginning of each chapter, as well as any trigger warnings.
I'm also now throwing in one-shots here because there are too many of them to think of titles for.
Plus adding all of my prompt responses for dwc.

    Summary

“It was quiet in there,” Ada says, finally. “I don’t know where I went but I was there for a while and it was so... lonely. Being around someone else helps.”

“So you found me?” he says, but it comes out as more of a question than anything.

    OR

Ada wakes up from the withering. Will can't stand being alone. Somehow, this leads to friendship.

    Summary

Being dead isn’t actually so bad. Will has had time to get used to it over the first few days at Nevermore Academy, a place where secrets forge alliances and the threat of being silenced is always close at hand.

It seems that there is no one Will shares more secrets with in death than the man who knew him best in life. From his writing, Will begins to realize the depth of their relationship — built on small devotions of trust and truth. At the same time, Montresor is doing everything in his power to keep his past from surfacing and destroying his second chance at something good.

The two find themselves bound in a powerful cycle of give and take as they try to reach the truth of what their life together had been; the Prince of Lies and a man of a thousand faces. But they should know better than most that tall tales cast long shadows.

“Yours Regardless” is about who you trust with your story, and what happens when that trust is betrayed.

(A continuation of “Dead Man’s Fiction”, an AU in which Will and Montresor met and had a relationship before they died. HIGHLY recommend reading Part One first!)

    Summary

In rural Kansas, a lonely churchgoer accidentally invites the devil's work into God's house. At first, it feels like the miracle William had asked for.
Only later does he realize there is a difference between being chosen and being owned.

Montresor sees opportunity, expecting an easy evening. Instead, he finds someone far more stubborn—and far more broken—than he initially bargained for.
Trapped together, each becomes the other's greatest temptation.

One prays desperately to be saved.

The other believes he's already too far beyond it.
