“I’ll just leave this here then,” comes a deep, wry voice, and Jason breaks the kiss with a little gasp.
“Sorry,” Roy says, without making any attempt whatsoever to sound it.
Slade sets a first aid kit on the coffee table with a smirk. “Oh, believe me, you got nothin’ to be sorry about. Assuming you don’t want an audience, I’m gonna go wash up. Make yourselves at home.”
He doesn’t actually wait for a response before he turns and heads upstairs, which is sort of a shame, because Roy felt Jason’s hips jerk slightly at the word “audience.”
[In which everybody gets thoroughly fucked and Roy realizes he could probably benefit from therapy.]

Jason swallowed down a shiver as he took in Batman’s huge frame, stern expression, and… cape. “You look like an asshole,” he said flatly, crossing his arms over his chest.
“Constructive feedback only,” intoned the giant man, looming over Jason. Jason raised his chin and glared.
