Dick takes a deep breath, fiddling with the handset phone between his fingers. People don't even own these anymore.
Flipping it back and forth out and into his palm as the dial tone makes itself present in the quiet of Bruce's study, his fingers hover over the keypad, hesitant.
He hasn't been back in the manor for quite some time. A few months, which, you know, is better than fourteen but who's counting?
Bruce and him fought again this week, something they can't seem to stay away from, and the horrible familiarity of it all gave Dick the urge to do something he hasn't done in one, progressive year.
He wants to call Jason.

It took less than a minute for a new message to appear on screen.
Baby Boiii: An old friend.

A picture followed and this time the screen did crack in Wade's grip.
It's Peter. The picture is dark and musty looking, but he'd know that mound of brown hair and determined eyes anywhere. He's in the same Deadpool shirt he was wearing this morning, only it's now crumpled, dirty, and stained with blood. His arms were bound above his head. A gruesome cut on his forehead left a large trail of blood down his face, where he was glaring fiercely at the camera with his mouth gagged.<><><><><><>
When Madcap kidnaps Wade's boyfriend, Peter Parker, it's up to him and the Merc's for Money to save this "imaginary lover" before it's too late.

Turns out, user PRIMETIME69 (who joined 4 years ago, relationship status is “Every breath you take, every move you make, I've been watching you”, and forum signature is “Punching through YOUR reality this next issue!”) is used to arguing.
This same user is also, unfortunately, Red Hood's biggest fan.
(Or, Jason finds out about a guy on TVTropes who really likes Red Hood. Later, he meets the new Superman, who seems to really like Jason Todd. He deals with it. Normally.)
