Summary
Ryland Grace survived the trip to Erid and has begun to build a life for himself. He has his own private beach, a forest to run through, and a gaggle of students to call his own. It's a kind of peace he's rarely known, but he cannot settle into it easily. He's hiding a truth from Rocky: he's struggling to move past the hurt and anger the Olympian's betrayal left him with, the remaining gaps in his memory aren't helping, and he's losing more of his mortality every day. The red of his blood is slowly turning gold and silver, despite how hard he's begged and pleaded with the stars to stop it.
To make matters worse, something on the horizon threatens to shatter the fragile peace he's found on Erid. He's always known being a bridge between worlds wasn't all fun and games, but being the first of a new kind brings even more challenges. The kind that might force him to choose between keeping the life he's built as Ryland Grace, or returning to his old life as Percy Jackson. Old wounds will reopen, new ones will cut deep, and the world will get a lot bigger and scarier as Grace is forced to confront the reality of his situation.
The stars are not done with their Savior yet, nor is Earth ready to let go of her Hero.

Summary
Shen Qingqiu saves Liu Qingge in the Lingxi caves and protects the sect from a demon invasion. However, the other Peak Lords don’t see it that way and punish him for his failings, as Liu Qingge has been severely injured and the demons were able to escape with the plaque of Cang Qiong.
In the aftermath of it all, Shen Qingqiu runs away, poisoned and his body barely held together by bandages.

The boy was done with his food by the time Shen Jiu emerged, playing idly with the chopsticks. He looked up the moment he spotted Shen Jiu, expression startled.
“Go wash up,” Shen Jiu said. “Don’t put a shirt on afterwards, I want to see your wounds.”
“Yes, shizun.” The boy almost whispered and scrambled behind the privacy screen. How ungrateful of him, to sound so scared when Shen Jiu had fed him, left him warm water and promised medical attention! Wu Yanzi had never done half as much!
That was the metric Shen Jiu was using for now: Any situation he walked into, he judged through the lenses of “what would have I wanted to happen when I was Wu Yanzi’s disciple?” and then simply did just that.

His shixiong hides behind a facade. For protection, for comfort, for himself. He does not know what his shixiong has suffered from—and he seeks to uncover it.
Such is a hard task when his shixiong has walls upon walls of protection around his heart. Refusing to let anyone in. But that does not deter him.
Now, with their shizuns having picked a date for their ascension, he decides to show his affection.
