Cooper was on his way to blackout drunk in a shitty bar in North Vegas Square when the Legion marched on New Vegas. In all his time wastelanding, he’d never entertained the idea of putting himself between the Legion and their prey. He wasn’t gonna risk himself to free their tunics, but Lucy…he'd have done it again for her in an instant.
He had tortured her, cut off her finger, sold her to organ dealers, let her walk into the Legion’s camp in ignorance, and then handed her over to her evil fuckin’ father—and when he’d come back, she joined him without a hint of reservation.
