Summary
Taeyong has lived in River's Bend his entire life, like his parents before him and their parents before that. Nothing changes in River's Bend. Nothing is new. Until a boy named Jaehyun shows up, with dimples and a blinding smile.
~~
Jaehyun moves to River's Bend hoping it will be an escape. A fresh start after tragedy. What he finds is a town that's quiet and slow, and a beautiful boy who may not be able to fix him, but will definitely change him forever.

Summary
“What’s wrong with you?” is the first thing Doyoung says when Taeyong picks up.
“Hello to you too, pretty.”
Doyoung’s heart lurches.
The call is on speaker, Jaehyun and Jungwoo are strewn close by on the practice room floor and various members of staff mill about across the room while they take a breather from practice.
Or In which Doyoung sees taeoxo_nct's latest Instagram comment.

Summary
Taeyong feels unexpectedly lonely after moving into his own apartment. Not wanting to worry his family with a call in the middle of the night, he ends up calling Doyoung instead, falling asleep with his best friend on the line. They fall into a habit of calling each other at night for months, refusing to acknowledge this change in their relationship in person, god forbid it irrevocably changes everything between them.
Eventually, the calls turn sexual, with the pair engaging in regular phone sex for weeks, until Taeyong can't stand it for a moment longer.

Summary
The two of them tangle together like second nature, without even thinking about it. It’s natural, how much they touch, considering how long they’ve been Taeyong-and-Yuta to everyone around them. They’re a package deal.
