Summary
“What the fuck did you do!?”
Joker reflexively ran his mouth, hiding away the raw animal terror of near-death still icing his veins where no one else could see. "What did I do? What did you—" His heart jumped to attention, eager and rattling the bars of its cage. He stilled, words dying on his tongue.
Distantly, somewhere, Oracle's voice shouted, "Crow!?"
The star of his worst dreams and best nightmares stormed forward from the cave's shadows. Hereward disappeared in a flash of blue flame to reform his mask.
Akira's been back in Tokyo one month when the MetaNav downloads itself back on his phone. Of all the things the Thieves expected to find while investigating the flooded remains of the Metaverse, Crow wasn’t one of them.
