Summary
The plan was simple. Well- the overall plan was far from simple, but this was supposed to be the simple part. Ditch the Soul. Create a dark world. Find the Lord of Screens. Strike a deal with them. Promise them whatever you have to that will get them to comply. It doesn’t matter if Kris can’t uphold their end of the bargain, because this darkner is fated to die. So. Don’t. Get. Attached.
Unfortunately, Tenna isn't making that easy. He cares too much, and he can tell SOMETHING is off with Kris. The Soul isn't helping, it's warming right up to Tenna... which is just making him more suspicious. And WHY is it so creeped out by Ramb's game?

Summary
At the end of chapter 4, the SOUL figures out a way to have a heart to heart with its unwilling vessel. Kris gets a better understanding of who exactly the one pulling their strings is. And, maybe, a better understanding of themselves as well.
My take on how a conversation between the Player and Kris might play out.
