Utahime opened her eyes, wondering if the guest next door had dropped something. Silence, for a while. About to drift off again when it happened again, louder.
She opened her mouth to yell crossly through the wall; some of them had to work the next day. Stopped when she heard the moan, staccato choked off against the cotton pillowcase.
Her heart was thumping. She pressed closer, crowding her ear to the wall. There was a wet sound, unmistakably skin against skin.

Megumi goes without protest. He heaves himself up gracefully onto Higuruma’s workspace, elbows finding empty spaces in the mess of papers. Eyes lowered, he knows exactly how to make Higuruma feel like a monster, gazing up at him from behind dark lashes.
