She actually squeezes Mike’s shoulder at that part, and it’s enough to get him to look up.
The image waiting for him ejects his heart from his ribcage, forcing it straight up into his throat where it gets stuck. Lodged back there, so he can taste blood and has to force each breath he takes around the shape of it.
Joyce is the happiest person in the room, that much is obvious. His mom was right about her, she does look beautiful, and her dress is simple but nice, no veil or anything.
Will is walking Joyce down the aisle.
And Mike’s mom was right about him too.

“You know,” Georgia is looking at her thoughtfully when she pockets her phone. “Out of all of Ginny's friends, you were always my favorite.”

Maybe Mike’s face does something weird with the way all the blood is rushing to his dick, because Will goes flushed and mortified again and says, “But I know it’s totally weird and you’re just being nice—”
“Will,” Mike says. “It’s really fucking hot.”
Or, Will calls Mike "daddy" when he's deep in subspace, and Mike has made it his personal mission to draw it out of him again.
