Summary
Dumbledore left Harry with the Dursleys on a cold November night, knowing that he wouldn't be treated perfectly, but he had to keep the child of the prophecy safe. It was all for the greater good. He didn't bother going back, because the child would be safe enough with his family.
He was wrong.
Abused and alone, Harry receives his acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and decides that it's time for him to escape from his abusers into a world of magic that he had belonged to all along.

Summary
Dumbledore doesn't make it in time for Harry's trial, and the outcome is very different. Harry is expelled, his wand snapped.
But he refuses to give up. And he is done waiting around for Albus Dumbledore to give him information.
Deciding to take his life into his own hands, Harry asks for training from several Order members, preparing himself to fight Voldemort while the whole wizarding world believes he's helpless and back in the muggle world.
Meanwhile, his friends are at Hogwarts, tackling their own problems in the form of Dolores Umbridge. Harry hadn't expected the separation to be so difficult - or for a certain mischievous redhead to make the waiting game they'd entered into so very excruciating.
He might have lost his home in Hogwarts, but with Sirius and Remus around, Harry begins to learn that rebuilding a family isn't as hard as he'd anticipated.

Summary

Summary
While on the hunt for Horcruxes, a chance encounter with Death Eaters ends with Harry being sent back in time to 1942 and de-aged to five years old. The horcrux inside of him leads Headmaster Dippet to the absurd conclusion that Harry must be Tom Riddle’s son from the future. Dippet believes it is best for model student Tom to take care of Harry until they find a way to send him back to his time.
Tom is not happy with this arrangement at first.
