Summary
This is basically just a thing I wanted to write, to follow the show. I just added a few original characters, to add my own spice. This is my first thing I will be posting, so I would definitely love to hear what you all think! Constructive criticism is always welcome. All is fair in love and the apocalypse. (Or so the saying should be.)
I haven't touched this story in a very long time, but I am currently going through it for small spelling errors, and I will begin working on and posting new chapters soon! I love this story and ideas I had for it, so i'm bringing it back. Posting this on 8/9/26

Summary
While walking home from the bar, Gavin stumbles upon a group of teenagers attacking an android with a familiar face. Against his best judgement, Gavin decides to take the android in. Now it’s Gavin’s job to take care of this traumatised, mute, feral android.
“Connor? What happened?” he asked.
But, the android remained silent. Its grey eyes continued to stare at Gavin and the now familiar unsettling feeling was back.Wait. Grey eyes?
Gavin did a double take. Its eyes were indeed grey. Not the doe-eyed brown that he had gotten all too familiar with at the station.
“You’re not Connor,” he said, matter of factly. The unknown android cocked its head at his statement, seemingly confused by it. “What are you?” he asked.

The new and advanced android RK900, (affectionately) termed “Nines” by the precinct, has never understood most human things. Movies, music, reality tv, and even basic emotions are lost to his militant operating system. Through a partnership with a cynical detective, Nines may finally come to understand the appeal of such human nonsense.
And receive some upgrades along the way.

Summary
Gavin wants his well earned promotion, and he is going to fucking get it. He can be a professional and do his job, even if it means putting up with a fucking android that never had to work a day in their life to get the position that Gavin had worked years for. One thing is for sure, he is not going to treat his new partner special, even if he does have an LED.
Nines was not built to be a detective like his brothers, but he wants to be one. He is determined to prove his worth and show that he can always be an asset. Unfortunately, his assigned partner is a contradiction that Nines does not understand. How can a man be constantly found everywhere but his desk, and yet still be the best detective in the precinct?
Maybe there is more than meets the eye.
At least they can both agree that Perkins needs to be punched.

Summary
