When Peter's Teacher announces that his Graduating Class's Senior Trip is going to be to Stark Industries, the place where Peter has an internship, and where he spends so much of his free time, he is... less than enthused. No one believes his Internship is real and frankly, he just doesn't want to deal with it, but between May and Mr. Stark, he doesn't really think he's going to get much of a choice.

"Sorry," Henry says. "I—you're young. I just…assumed you were another one of the students. But…you're in politics?"
Stephen smiles down at his polished shoes. "Something like that."
Henry nods slowly. As if he understands what the weight beneath Stephen's words means. He brings his cigarette to his lips for another drag, slow and deep, and Stephen's pale, empty eyes watch him carefully.
"Will you put that out on me?" he asks.
It's so utterly casual that Henry is sure he must've misheard him. It startles a laugh out of him regardless — either he misheard it or it was a joke, but Stephen isn't laughing. His face is utterly earnest. His eyes are fixed on the cherry of Henry's cigarette, the fire-warm light of it in the dimness of the courtyard. It's reflected in the glassiness of his eyes, bright.
