“You should stay.” Wade was stumbling over his words trying to convince Logan to stay. “There’s room for you here. And you’ll get used to Pete. Sure he’s a creepy crawly little bugger, but he’s also the sweetest little sugar cube in the world. And hey, it’s a douchey thing to 'wham bam thank you ma’am' save the world with me, and then leave."“Jesus Christ.” Logan huffed. “You really are a yapper, aren’t you?”
“Certified yapper, yeah.” Wade bumped Logan’s shoulder. “Seriously. Stay. Please.”
Logan put a hand to his chest, right over his stupid, hopeful heart. “Maybe a few days.”
“A few days sounds good.” Wade budged closer until their knees knocked too and smiled like a smitten fool. “You’ll see. It’ll be fine. You and me and Pete-- it'll be fine."

“No, it’s cool, man. I get it. I’m not - I mean, Peter 1 is like the Peter anyway. I’m just Peter 3.”
“Okay. So he’s got a few self-esteem issues. We’ll work on that.”

Or: The TVA pulled the plug on Peter 3’s universe while he wasn’t in it. As a result, he’s forced to tag along on the Poolverine road trip. Every Deadpool has a Peter, right? Wade might have stolen his, just like he stole Logan, but like fuck he’s letting either of them go now.
