The guy only sniffs and hitches his hands up on his hips, showing off a trimmer waist than his oversized rugby shirt suggested. “What’s your name again?”
“Rocky,” he offers, simple and easy. “You?”
“Grace,” the guy says. “Or Mr. Grace, if you’re a seventh grader within twenty yards of me.”
“Just Grace?”
“Just Rocky?”
Rocky arches a brow and steps inside the copy room, which seems to charge up the air despite the preexisting smell of hot paper and toner. “Look, Mr. Grace,” he says, trying to keep his posture open and casual even though Grace is nearly a hand taller than him. “I didn’t mean to roll up like gangbusters on your copy room racketeering gig, I was just trying to learn the lay of the land and get my sheets prepped for the kids. But I’ll mosey on down to the math department and put my formal order in if need be.”
Grace rolls his jaw like he’s got a marble in his mouth, and now that they’re closer Rocky can make out the bright blue of his eyes and the gold in his lashes. Damn, he’s a good looking son of a bitch, if only he didn’t have a stick jammed so far up his pert little—

Rocky's been around for a long time. How long, he doesn't quite remember--but certainly long enough to know when he spots perfectly good prey for his next meal.
It's a tiny church on the very outskirts of the town and the priest smiles so gently. Children filter past the aging wooden doors of the chapel as the tall priest waves them off. It's rather late already, the sky having long faded from its burnt orange hues into a bruised purple.
"May I come in? Or are you closing up?"

Trust my newly awakened horny brain to immediately make his question into something sexual when I highly doubted that was the intent.
“Yes.” Rocky said easily and without shame, like there was nothing wrong with a nearly forty-year-old man and almost three-hundred-year-old alien spending their time on a spaceship playing ‘doctor’.
