    I FORGOT A SUMMARY AHHHHH

    Someone targeting the Commission isn’t anything new, with them being such a large pillar in society that promotes Heroes; occasionally, they have to replace the windows or lawn if an attack is bad enough. Maybe hire a few staff members to replace lower-ranking employees who did nothing but show up to work that day. A building can be rebuilt, new people hired, and money had never been an issue to the HPSC with all of the public support it gets. But this isn’t that, it isn’t just a matter of replacing some glass or buying new trees- the Commission is currently more like an active demolition zone than a proud government building.

     

    This isn’t just a targeted attack, it's angry- furious even, a wrath proven right and twice as deadly for it. This attack is a message.

    In the wake of the intense battle, Hopper’s post-Russian resurrection, the Byers' move back to Hawkins, and the group’s gradual recovery, the party decided to have bi-weekly movie nights at either the Byers or the Harrington residence. After the first month of the kids and Eddie arguing over what movie to watch, Steve had decided he had enough, and they started to rotate whose choice of movie they would watch.
    On May 31st 1986, it just so happens to be one Dustin Henderson's turn to pick. The day of, Dusin spends his morning looking through his own tapes and in the process, discovers a banged up and unlabeled black tape. His natural curiosity moves him to pick this as his movie selection as neither he nor his mother can remember what exactly is on this tape.

    Little does he know, this decision will lead to hidden truths being revealed and a complete destruction of how he views one of the most important people in his life.

    Or in other words, the party watches The Black Phone and Steve Harrington must confront his true self and his past. Includes integration of the tape into the overall world of Stranger Things.

    The party just wanted to have a normal movie night. Just like all movie nights have been for the last couple of months, but something had to go wrong. Again.
    Is it the upside down. Or something else entirely?

    Steve’s not sure, but this is definitely bad, like really bad. Not only is this an invasion of his privacy, this tape has footage of the stuff that happened in ‘78. Stuff that is definitely way more important than to label as just Stuff.
