Summary
Ginny once told her that her problem was that she wouldn't let things go. Wouldn't take things as they came. Wouldn't let life happen to her, instead trying to control everything. Well, that night – after she was almost driven to tears, then rescued by someone she never imagined would do that – she decided it was time to do that for the first time. Perhaps a lot of first times would be ticked off the list that night. Maybe getting sloshed was one of them. It would certainly help with the – the letting life happen thing.
Hermione is deeply hurt by Ron's behaviour while he is dating Lavender. The Weasley siblings - George and Ginny in particular - are growing tired of biting their tongues each time he hurts her. A decision to spend New Year's Eve at the Burrow gives Hermione an option she never expected.

The kisses are so intricately placedddd! This is also the way I personally feel about Ron and Hermione, although he is a little nicer to her in canon, it feels as though she was locked to him from day 1, and even though he partially reciprocated, the slow burn just wasn’t written correctly. I mourn what they could have been if JK. Rowling knew how to write romance.

Summary
“Lumos,” George whispered the spell into the clear, night air. The cold silence nipped at his nose, and his fingers shirked from their duty of holding the heavy box. But, even without pulling his wand out, the spell took hold, lighting up the back ally of Weasley’s Wizarding Wheezes. The soft glow emanated from his back pocket, illuminating the purple trash bins and brickwork.
He took a moment to consider his aims. Just a quick trip, really. Check on Granger. Maybe make her smile. Drop by a few things he thought she’d like.
If she was available, maybe they’d work together on their respective projects for a while. He’d be careful not to infringe. The Weasleys had seen less and less of her recently, and she’d left Ron and Hannah’s wedding reception early last week, claiming a headache.
But, George had looked up from his friendly conversation with Katie Bell and spotted her from across the room. Her eyes had been red.

Summary
An anthology of one-shots tracing what might have been between Lily Evans and Severus Snape, if they had chosen each other.
Recent chapters:
ch. 5: 1991 school year. Professor Snape (née Evans) is faced with James Potter's and Marlene's child and her own avoidance.
ch. 6: August 1979. Lily and Severus try fleeing the Wizarding War on forged passports for France with Majorca as a stopover, and accompanied by the Dursley's, they discover leaving is actually hard.
ch. 7: July 1992. A Hogwarts letter arrives at Spinner's End and the day Lily has been planning for eleven years takes a hard left somewhere, and doesn't come right again until midnight.
ch. 8: Nine months in 1980. The war doesn't reach Spinner's End all year; something else does.
ch. 9: Early 80s. They learn to be parents, together and apart and at different speeds. Severus takes longer.
ch. 10: Christmas 1973. Home in Cokeworth for the holidays, Severus spends a frozen fortnight at Spinner's End discovering that a gift he can't give and a heart he can't fight his way out of are the same problem. (Severus POV)
These serve as epilogues to Septennium and Novennial, but can work as standalone pieces.
