Beautiful. Buck was so sad and miserable and TK and Carlos really kind to take him in.
And ofc Eddie couldn't just leave it alone, he had to fly to Texas.I absolutely loved that for a moment Buck's love was known but truly unrequited and still their friendship was kinda fine. Because honestly that's what I think would happen irl with two best friends were in this situation. I don't think love would be what ruins a friendship. Not a truly deep one.
Eddie's revelation on the roadside in texas was beautiful

The revelation that Buck wanted a love like Eddie or none at all was very wise. Like- maybe that's what it is for me, too. I've got a loving family and loving friends, why would I settle for a relationship that could not give me at least the equal amount of love. It made me think.

“Buck.”~ that's a perfect piece of literature. Very lifelike
I loved the Buck PoV. He was so funny and earnest and still so hurt and sad and traumatised by his parents. Eddie being the perfect fiance! And Chris the perfect son.
And Bobby and Athena the perfect parents and then Maddie finally through their parents out because not on Bucks expenses.
This was the perfect hurt/comfort because it hurt how they talked to and about Buck but he found his own family who love him anyways.

Oh, god, Buck has retrieved his clipboard from wherever in Eddie’s house he’d stashed it last time. He’s waving it around as he speaks.
“Information about my spouse,” Eddie says blankly.
Buck looks confused. He flips through the pages on his clipboard. “No, look, we definitely-”
“Not Shannon,” Eddie interrupts. “My current spouse.”
Buck, understandably, looks even more confused. Then he seems to actually comprehend what Eddie is saying, and he shoots him a devastated look. “You’re- you’re married? When? To whom?”
“I… I didn’t know I was married. I don’t. I don’t think I am? But they seem to think I am. And they think…” Eddie pauses. Wets his lips. “I think… I think they think I’m married to you.”
Buck and Eddie get married the night of Chimney's bachelor party. Buck and Eddie do not know they got married the night of Chimney's birthday party. At least, they don't until months later, when Chris' new school asks Eddie for documentation of his spouse: one Mr. Buck Diaz.
